Wondering about all the buzz around Twitter and Facebook? Visit Lorain County’s Fall Quarterly Membership meeting will feature a Social Networking Workshop. Explore the benefits of social networking and see firsthand how Visit Lorain County works to market your business and Lorain County tourism through Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr and blogging. Last month, Visit Lorain County won a Ruby Award - Citation of Excellence for social networking from the Ohio Travel Association.

Joining the panel will be Rona Proudfoot, Web Editor for the Chronicle-Telegram who produces, edits and packages website content for Chroniclet.com and Bruce Bishop, chief photographer for the Chronicle-Telegram who has a wide range of expertise in blogging and web. He is co-owner of Bishop photography.

The event will provide information on how to use these services for your own benefit and drive business to your website and business. You also have the option to bring along your laptop and start your own Twitter account while we learn. Rona and Bruce will also take questions about local media.
