I wanted to personally invite you to the upcoming Ohio Electric Drive Initiative meeting on March 10th at Ohio State University’s Center for Automotive Research.

For this event, Plug Smart has coordinated a meeting with Nissan president Mark Perry to demonstrate Ohio’s state-wide EV support and efforts to bring the Leaf, Nissan’s all electric vehicle, to Ohio. Nissan has formed more than a dozen partnerships throughout the United States and we need your attendance to show why Ohio should be next!

Electric vehicles hold great promise for improving our state’s environment, energy security and economy. Ohio has real strengths in automotive manufacturing and freight logistics. Bringing OEM electric vehicles to Ohio is a compelling way to improve the sustainability of our transportation sector as well as make the case that electric vehicles and their advanced technology components should be manufactured in our state.
