Susan Meier, VP of Consulting and Training at BoardSource will lead a FREE day-long workshop on February 11th (from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm) at Spitzer Conference Center based on the book Governance as Leadership by Richard Chait.

Nonprofit Executive Directors/CEOs and Board Officers are encouraged to attend as a team and will be led through discussion and exercises designed to create practical tools that can be taken back to their respective boardrooms.

The workshop is underwritten by The Nord Family, Nordson Corporation Foundation, The Stocker Founation and Community Foundation of Lorain County as part of an effort to increase the impact of nonprofit boards by better preparing individuals to serve as board members. Ms. Meier's session is one of five included in the 2010 Basic and Advanced Governance Training Series offered by Leadership Lorain County.
